I spent two nights at this 500-year-old farmhouse outside Bayeux with three of my friends. It was an excellent value and a very enjoyable place to stay, convenient to Bayeux and the Normandy beaches. It had been recommended by friend's and it did not disappoint.
The house and rooms are gorgeous, and the French breakfast (croissants with butter, preserves, and that wonderful French coffee) can't be beat. This is a chambre d'hote site and is about 1 mile from the centre of Bayeux (about 0.5miles from the British War Cemetery). The property is a very big country house and the accommodation is in a wing through a separate door with a security keypad. The rooms are absolutely stunning, very big and beautifully furnished.
