We had 3 nights in the Raven cabin, as the seaview cabins were booked and we preferred cabin over a room. Our cabin had a porch, 2 double beds, ensuite, TV (iffy reception)and coffee machine (A fridge would have been amazing). Clean, comfy and warm. Location is handy just 6 miles south of Park entrance. It's not an intimate stay... More

We had a quad-sharing room for 4 adults with a balcony overlooking the river. Our room was at its newly completed Cedar Hotel belonging to this property. It wasn't cheap for a night but we loved our room. It was spacious, had nice furniture and fittings, a well-fitted bathroom and the room still smelled very new. We would be more... More

The Lodge is good but ... We where staying in one of the Premium Cabins which oversee the valley. This brings me direct by one of the disadventages because direct in front of the lodge is the highway which goes here up hill so the noise of the road is very loud. A second disadventage is that there is no... More

After finding out the Mountain morning hostel was all booked up, i rented one of their more rustic cabins, with no running water, but it did have a heater and a clean/comfortable bed. After backpacking for 5 nights, it was very comfortable. The place had amenities around but the costs were ridiculous. For the shuttle to and from the park... More

We stayed in Tent Cabins 5 and 6, right on the shores of the Nenana River. Granted there was some duct tape on one of the cabins and mold stains (but no odor) but the scenery was so gorgeous it was too minor to bother about. The rain came pouring down in the middle of the night but we were... More

We reserved 2 nights in the cabins, but our plans changed and had to move up the date so ended up 1 night in the hotel and 1 in the cabin. Cabin more rustic, but room was newer with large bath; both were great...quiet with a nice view of the river. We appreciated the cooperation of the hotel staff in... More

Great place. Had a beautiful cabin overlooking the river--ammenities, service, people were all great. There are a variety of accomodations here--from roughing it camping to the lodge and cabins we stayed at. Make sure you understand what accomodations you're booking. If you pay for a camping experience you'll get a wonderful experience, but don't expect the same experience you get... More

If you are staying at a campground you kind of know what to expect. I found both the cabins and the RV hook up sites to be nice. I like having the little general store on the property. A quick walk to The river on the edge of the property and I had some of my most beautiful pictures of... More

Pros: We got a nice tent campsite right next to the river with an adjacent cook shelter at the last minute (9pm without a reservation). That said, for $25 it wasn't a great campsite. I've stayed at much nicer campgrounds for much less, but that's just the way it goes outside of Denali. Cons: Next to a major road and... More
