When we were in Alaska several years ago we stayed at a lovely B&B in Healy. We wanted to stay there again, but decided to stay at the Denali cabins last August since we were going to the Backcountry Lodge the next day and the bus leaves from there. I thought this arrangement might be easier since we would also... More

It is a three hour ride by motor coach to these Cabins and the view of these little cozy bungalows is excellent. They are immaculate, located centrally on the road between scattered towns and the tourist destination clustered around the travel inns and entrance to the Denali park, about 12 mi away. Cabins: warm and quiet. Woodland preserved, not shabby... More

after spending 6 hours on a train this was a nice place to kick back and relax before continuing our journey. they offer a complementary shuttles into town and a very nice breakfast. the staff was very pleasant and helpful. the only downside was that the cabins were a bit small, but you are not there for the cabins, but... We had been very much looking forward to our cabin at the Denali Cabins but were very disappointed. There is a big compound of at least 40 cabins huddled together, and service is US airport immigration style. It's a loveless mass accommodation. The interior of the cabin is just about clean enough and in our case featured two queen beds... More

If you get assigned Cabin E, hope that the guests in adjoined Cabin F are quiet as the walls are unbelievably paper thin. They rolled in at 11:30pm and were up well past 1am, so I lost a lot of sleep as I could hear *everything*. Heater is very noisy, so prepare to bundle up to stay warm at night... More

We stayed here for 2 nights during our recent Alaska trip. This is also the place where the Denali Backcountry Adventure tour bus begins. The cabins themselves are very picturesque, but the amenities were a little rusty. The toilet was leaking, the tub wasn't draining right. I would have expected this experience at Motel prices, but the cabin rates were... More

We spent two nights here. The service was great. The accommodations were fine. THey were clean and comfortable. We got a cabin experience with all the amenities--TV, bathroom, comfortable bed, heat. The continental breakfast featured at least one hot item each morning, and had a variety of choices. It was a great way to start the day. The staff was... More

The cabin was fine and a great location. Rustic, yet clean. The free breakfast was had mostly bread items, costco style muffins cut in half cold cereal and some eggs. Pancakes or sausage would be nice?? Very nice breakfast room just looking for a little more in the breakfast. Only complaint about the cabin was the extremely noisy exhaust fan... More

It was unusual to have to pay 100% of our lodging upfront and sign a waiver that no matter what happened to us, they were in no way responsible. The individual cabins are situated in a spruce grove and parking was right across from our cabin. Other guests were not so lucky and had to haul their luggage over the... More
