We recently stayed here prior to a rally day at the Chris Birkbeck rally school. The accommodation is in converted farm buildings which have managed to retain their rustic charm. We had the 4 poster bedroom which was very nice with a comfy king size bed. The room itself was clean and tidy but maybe a little dated. The accommodation... More

The Arches is mainly set up as a rally-driver taining school, and is not a very welcoming place for other guests. For a start, it's in the middle of a golf course and impossible to reach unless you have your own transport. On arrival, you have to dial the management from a payphone in order to get someone to let... More

From the moment we arrived after a long journey we were made to feel really welcome. Nothing was too much trouble and all the staff were really friendly. Breakfast each day had everything you could think of so well worth having.

We have just returned from a weekend at the Arches BandB in Brotton , near Saltburn by the Sea , North Yorkshire . A wonderful setting , ideally situated to visit the countryside and sea-side towns of the area . The room ( Number 5 ) was wonderful , so quiet , so relaxing . Jean and her staff were... More

I stayed at The Arches with my 2 dogs for one night whilst walking The Cleveland Way. Very helpful and friendly owners. Immaculate and spacious room and the continental breakfast was excellent. I would definitely stay at The Arches again and would highly recommend it! Lisa

This is one B&B you won't find by accident but it's worth seeking out. The Arches' Hotel postcode in a your Satnav will take you to the front door without a problem. I think the name Hotel is a slight misnomer because some hotel services such food service throughout the day are not available. It's more a guest house/B&B. I... More

This was my second stay at The Arches which is commendation alone. The accommodation is clean and tidy with ample space. The hosts and staff are warming and nothing is too much if you need something. Thoroughly recommend a stay there.

We spent 12 days at this elegant, extremely reasonably priced, comfortable hotel. The hosts, Jeanne and her son Chris made us very welcome and took time out of their busy day to advise us of the best places to visit. This is a family run hotel and we were treated like family The weather was freezing but our room was... More

This was our second visit and although it was not as good as our first, we had to have our room changed they did so without any problems. There was less choice at breakfast. Jean and the staff are very helpful and we would probably go again.
