My wife and I were guided to the Hostellerie Clau del Loup by friends who have been spending a sabbatical year nearby. We had a delightful lunch there, for a very reasonable cost, which included an unlimited supply of a very pleasant rose. Although one does not find it listed among TripAdvisor's rated restaurants it truly deserves to be there.... More

“A delightful place to stay”

We have just returned from a 4 night stay here, we have stayed here before in May this year. It is a perfect place for a few days , it takes us about 1 hour 20mins to drive here from Bergerac Airport with hardly any traffic on the roads. We stumbled across this superb little hotel completely by accident (almost literally too) after a faurly disasterous night in another local hotel. At a guess formerly the local landowners house, the hotel which is access via a stone staircase is small, very special and in my experience quite unique!
