Stayed overnight at the end of January at this family run hotel. After receiving a warm welcome and settled in our warm, clean and comfy room we went down to the bar, which was well populated with locals and residents alike. We had a lovely afternoon tea which was included in our overnight deal followed by a couple of drinks.... More

I had to 'pop over' to attend to a family matter and wasn't really looking forward to it as i'm more of a 'city girl' but I have to say I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel. It was absolutely gorgeous and such a reasonable rate - 69 euros... More

We recently had our wedding reception in the Hamlet Court Hotel and I cannot say enough good things about it. The staff are the friendliest I have ever met, nothing was too much trouble for them. The whole day went amazingly well, every little detail was just as we asked and the food was fantastic. All our guests are still... More

We tried out the hotel on St Stephens Day 2011, on a city deal. We had afternoon tea and champagne. It was delicious. Our room was huge, with robe, slippers, two bottles of still and sparkling water and a plate of chocolates on the bed to greet us. Check in was seconds and breakfast next morning was a feast. All... We stayed at the Hamlet Court Hotel last night for one night and left very happy. The staff are lovely, friendly and helpful. As we were travelling with a baby we were put in a room as far as you could get from the function room so that she would sleep well - we weren't disappointed! The room itself was... More

We stayed for one night. Had a great reception, free welcome drink too. Dinner was okay but we were very disappointed in the quality of the bedding. Beds were small, mattress very hard and creaked/groaned as a sure sign of it's age. The pillows were very hard too. After a very poor sleep we enjoyed a very good breakfast. It... More

Stayed in the Hamlet court Hotel for one night for a wedding recently we were charged €99 for the room inc breakfast. First off we asked for a disability friendly room. The room was tiny, the bed was tiny and the mattress was defuncked, we had to ask for it to be changed. This was done and to be fair... More
