Lovely B&B in a great location. Be prepared to remove your shoes upon entry and we were quite cold during our stay. Laundry facilities are not self service with no dryer. More

Really nice house and Mary is fab. Negative: very expensive for the area. Hotel prices but few hotel services. But as I say Mary is a lovely lady with a nice house. You have to take your shoes off when you get I. The house. Very house proud, too much. But not a bad thing. Slash the price: it's Rush... More

We needed a B&B on short notice and Mary Buckley was there to save the day. As spoiled Americans, we were happy to find Sandy Hills B&B with its spacious immaculate rooms and bathrooms, beautiful dining room, warm sitting room, and ample off street parking. Mary and her son Eoghen (Owen) could not have been more accommodating. Their suggestions for... More

On our first day in Ireland we were looking for a B&B near Dublin to stay for the night. So after a long time driving round we found the Sandy Hills B&B in Rush. There we were warmly invited by a very nice Lady called Mary Buckley. She booked a lovely restaurant for us, where we had our dinner: The... More

Stepping into Sandy Hills B&B is like stepping into a decorator's showcase. Impeccable in architectural design and decor in every way. Mary Buckley, the proprietor, is a whirlwind of activity, grace and knowledge about her country, and a genuine delight! She helped us map out (literally) our itinerary for our 4-day excursion through central Ireland...and we did about 90% of... More

We stayed at Sandy Hills for 2 nights at the start of our holiday. On arrival we were welcomed warmly by Mary, who showed us our room and then brought us tea and cake in the lounge. We were stunned by the impeccable quality of our room, which was immaculate, with a huge bathroom. The photos simply cannot do the... More

Mary Buckley is the Queen of B&B proprietresses! She is a warm, caring, and thoroughly thoughtful hostess, with a charming 4-diamond B&B to match. Everything is bright and clean, with very nice appointments, comfortable beds (and pillows!), and first-rate en-suites. We stayed with Mary and her son, Owen, at the first and last of our trip to Ireland. Sandyhills B&B... More

To start, Mary the owner is one of the loveliest people you will ever meet. She is genuinely nice, very helpful, very caring and wants to make sure your entire experience is outstanding. The location is very convenient to the airport. Fifteen minutes at the most. There is a gas station en route so you can fuel up before returning... More

Mary is warm and welcoming, a superb host. Every room is immaculate, comfortable and clean. We really enjoyed the village and a meal at the Harbour Bar - great pub and restaurant. More
