It's a year since I last stayed here and reviewed this hotel so this is an update. Main change is that breakfast is now buffet style but some dishes are served e.g. porridge which was very good. Stayed on route fom N Yorks to Cornwall. Easy to find, good welcome, clean comfortable room. Pub next door provided value pub food for evening meal. Had a room at back, was quiet, although we didn't have windows open.

Just returned form a weekend away visiting family. This hotel gives excellent value for money providing you book & pay at least 3 weeks in advance.
