Karon beach was a slight disappointment having come from the beautiful Phi Phi, but the hotel was conveniently located for the area. Really cheap room, fairly basic but spacious and a good bathroom. The street got quite noisy at night. The staff were helpful and the food downstairs in the restaurant was very good.

The Karon Cafe Inn provides all the necessary bits and pieces for a basic beach holiday. Room is clean and everything works. The food is outstanding. Steaks are a main feature on the menu and are I would highly recommend making a special trip to the restaurant if you're a steak lover. The prices in the restaurant are very fair.
