The Old Bank was superb, very tastfully decorated, clean and perfect. Miriam was so lovely and helpul advising on trips and locations to visit. The home made scones and tea served next to the open fire on our arrival at 22.00 was second to none. Miriam even managed to arrange for our car to be repaired within 3 hrs of... more

Spent three nights in the lovely town of Bruff last week. The Old Bank Bed & Breakfast comes highly recommended in the area and having looked at the website we were looking forward to visiting. It certainly didnt disappoint. The building itself is beautiful and has been lovingly restored and converted from its original use as a bank. The character... more

My husband and I spent 2 lovely nights with Miriam in the lovely Old Bank. Charming and warm, the atmosphere is very relaxing. We used this location as a base to explore the Cliffs of Moher, the Burren and surrounding area. This is the second consecutive year we have stayed at the Old Bank. Both occasions have been for family birthday parties in the nearby village of Hospital. I would not call this a bed and breakfast but a good quality, boutique hotel. I noticed this year it has been awarded a 4 star rating by the A&A and this is... more

Situated in the middle of the little town of Bruff, this is a classy b+b. As a vegetarian, I was particularly impressed with the inclusion of pancakes on the breakfast menu - and they were delicious! Miriam had prepared a bedroom at the front for me, but the windows didn't open and I prefer to sleep with open windows. When... more

We stayed at the Old Bank when our reserved B/B had heating problems. Miriam welcomed us so wonderfully. Our room was immaculate and so comfortable. We stayed two nights, not consecutively, but missed a night in between. She saved the same room for us and couldn't have done more to make our stay fabulous. Thank you Miriam! more
