I have stayed at The Old Bank B&B on a number of occassions and have always been extremely satisfied with the accommodation and the service provided. Miriam, the proprieter, does a great job in ensuring a warm welcome and the highest standards of service. The rooms are large, well furnished and equipped, and very comfortable. Thoroughly recommended.

She is always bright and cheery, made the best Irish breakfasts you can imagine, and to top it off, she was able to make suggestions to our daily journeys - based on her extensive local knowledge - that saved us much time and... This was one of the best b&b's my husband and I stayed at in Ireland. The Inn's owner Miriam checked us on early, leaving her son's birthday party to assist us. She gave us great suggestions from where to go for dinner, a lake to walk around to see local sights, to an truly breathtaking castle to see the next... More

If you're looking for something with character, this is the place. We discovered this gem when attending a wedding in limerick. Great family run b&b, rooms are spotless and fabulous but best of all was the fresh breakfast which was delicious with plenty of variety. Would definately recommend!

I had a very nice stay and the host was excellent. Breakfast was great, best breakfast of my vacation. Her husband is a butcher, so I definitely suggest trying the full breakfast. The room was great and they had private parking for the car.

My husband chose the Old Bank as somewhere to go for a long weekend. I'll admit I wasn't impressed when he told me it was in Bruff. I didn't think there would be anything there! However, I was pleasantly surprised and thoroughly enjoyed my stay there. The village itself is lovely, with some excellent pubs that I'd highly recommend. One... More

Miriam was very welcoming. Room was lovely. Breakfast was delicious. By the time we left we felt part of the family. Miriam, even with her busy schedule found time to talk with us and share her knowledge of the area.

In the first week of February, my five friends and I did our own drive-yourself, B&B tour of Ireland. We decided to try some B&B's in the country and some in the city. The Old Bank looked interesting, so we booked it. Miriam was such a delight. We've never met a woman with so much energy and drive! She was... More
