I have stayed here several times and have always been impressed by the staff, the rooms, the food and the drink. This is a great base for exploring the surrounding country side and there are decent roads for cycling too. More

Stayed here around NewYear and thought this hotel was what you would expect for 4 star, with the grounds and avenue leading up to the hotel adding to the whole experience,Nice food and rooms even though it was quite an expensive break, i would go back again but at an off peak time when the rates are more reasonable.Service in the... The Reception Staff on our arrival were very helpful & pleasant. The bar & waitress staff were very friendly. It's the Staff that make a Hotel & all the staff that we met were... More

Attended conference in September. Really enjoyed my stay.......lovely room, great food, staff could not be more helpful and pleasant. Even when a group of ten turned up for a dinner reservation that had been made for six, the staff found space for us in a very busy dining room. The pool was lovely, clean etc, regretted that I only got... More

Myself and my husband stayed for two nights in November, the hotel was quiet so the restaurant was closed and dinner was being served in the lounge which was absolutely fine with us, tables were set for dinner with cloths etc. Waitress and barman were friendly and courteous, food a big disappointment (my warm cheese starter cold and my husbands... The hotel itself is lovely but a little dated and our room could definitely have done with refurbishment along with the bar. We ate in the restaurant and it was fabulous one of the best meals I have had in a while and the restaurant manager Juan was excellent, the reception staff could learn a lot from him! The breakfast... More

Well it started with lack of interest from the reception staff, to a mix up with the rooms. Next we went to the bar for food, it was busy and under-staffed, although the staff did seem nice. The games room was ok except that the lights did not work in the pool table side, then we were taken into a... More
