A cold wet Huon day when we arrived however fire was set for us and it took all of 5 mins for the beautiful 'Emily" cottage to be bathed in warmth. We stayed one night here. The setting was beautiful, the bed was very comfortable. It was very warm, and we sat in the creek and cooled off, it was great! Better visited in cool weather, but a charming, cozy place for a couple.

OMG what a beautiful cottage we spent the night in the Emily cottage which looks down on to a small brook. The wild life was pleantful from the bird life to fury creature. My husband and enjoyed a night in "Eliza" for our 25th wedding anniversary. What a pleasure, and a shame we couldn't stay for longer! The cottage was just lovely and set in a really beautiful part of Tasmania. Would highly recommend for anyone looking for a peaceful and relaxing getaway.

After 8 wonderful days in a Winnebago we swapped to a car for the next 7 days of our trip round Tasmania. Spent our first night @ "Emily" - Crabtree River Cottages. Just gorgeous & so picturesque, could have moved in quite happily & permanently! If your in the Huon area we highly recommend you spend some time here.
