We spent a week at Carmels and we couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. Such a warm and friendly atmosphere. The breakfast was delicious. Everything was nice and clean. And Carmel is such a nice Person. We loved it. Andre and Susan from Germany.

With a warm welcome and clean and cozy rooms, it was all we could ask for! I was travelling with my Dad, and we both loved it! We felt so well looked after and it just felt like staying with family. The location was great, a few minutes drive from Glendalough and with beautiful nature all around us. The breakfast... More

My husband, my 1-year-old daughter and I stayed at Carmels only for 1 night, but we wish we could have stayed more. The house is really clean and cozy, and the room was big and comfortable. They provided a cot for my daughter. The breakfast is delicious, and generous too! You even get to choose from a breakfast menu. There... More

Carmel was a very friendly and welcoming host and the house itself was spotlessly clean and quiet. A car is a necessity in order to visit most of the surrounding sights. Room was very large as was the breakfast; would definitely stay again!

Carmel couldn't have been more welcoming. Breakfast was hale and hearty served in a bright breakfast room.

This was the first stay in a 12 days trip to Ireland with 11 different locations overnight. After the entire trip we realized that this was the best place we stayed in. The room was large, with two bathrooms, with large windows and with heating in the bed which was really nice because we had some bad weather while in... More

Upon arriving, Carmel greated me with a very warm welcome. She is such a lovely person. The room was be autiful and so spacious. The bed was large and very comfortable, and the breakfast was second to none. I couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. And being a stickler for cleanliness, I was not disappointed, The place... More

What a neat lady Carmel is, we really enjoyed her company and our stay. Lovely big bedroom with large comfortable bed, and my husband and I had a toilet each.. Everything was nice and clean. Wifi in our room. Although there was no tea making facilities or TV in our room the lounge was just along the hallway. Lots of... More

The house is very well located: a few kilometers away from Glendalough and other local tourist attractions. The rooms are big and very clean. The service is excellent, as is the breakfast. The house in itself is not very beautiful though. But very nice home to stay for a couple of nights in this very nice area only 60 km... More
