We held our wedding here for 50 guests and all of their rooms were booked by our guests. It's an Inn that is 100's of years old and is quaint and beautiful. The service was excellent, food lovely and absolutely perfect for us. Everyone loved it, beautiful place and beautiful people

I booked a double room in the Dog Inn by telephone. I was told the rate was £99 for B & B which seemed quite expensive so I checked that it was a nice room. The manager who took my booking confirmed it was and said that it had a bath. When we arrived we were shown to a really... More

Had a meal for five people at the Dog inn, the food and service was excellent, the staff friendly.and the dog was made welcome. We had a mixture of two an three courses and paid just over £100 between us for really nice food.

I Dined with a group of colleagues earlier this week and although I can't fault the quality of the food their were a few too many basic oversights which let down the overall experience. Firstly although their were a few options on the menu certain items (the fish) were in short supply or not available, which if you were not... More

Like many others ours was a Groupon that we had booked for March but had to cancel because of the snow and they were very good at rebooking for April. We too had a very small room number 6 but it was fine for one night. We had prepaid for dinner and it was excellent, beautifully presented and the service... More

We stayed for one night end of March, made the reservation through booking.com. Very good location, 15km outside Canterbury. Plenty of parking space with direct access to the hotel, The lobby, bar, dining room and breakfast area have been nicely refurbished, modern but still matches with an Inn from a few centuries ago. Our room was huge (room four) with... More

Really enjoyed our stay. Bedroom small but quaint, clean, bed comfy. Breakfast llovely although no brown sauce (popped to shop and bought my own-you can't have Bacon without brown sauce now, can you; )) Evening meals a bit expensive so wel ate in a pub down the road and had a good value meal there. Service second to none, pleasant... More

I have just returned from a very pleasant weekend at The Dog Inn. I felt compelled to write following some poor reviews and can honestly say that I think that the people were staying in a different place. The staff were very welcoming and showed us to our room which was lovely. The property is a 13th century building and... More
