A wonderful host, view, pool and appartment. Very highly recommended. The view of the towers of Santa Juliana below are really breathtaking. Privately owned, very personal style. We will surely pass some time here again.

We have just returned from a stay at this wonderful venue. Penny gave us a warm welcome to her impressive property and our holiday was exactly what we had hoped for. The setting is magnificent and the accomodation comfortable with wonderful views from both rooms and the generous swimming pool. Penny's suggestions for places to eat and visit were really... More

My Wife and I honeymooned in Italy over the summer and for most of our trip we called Prato di Sotto home. Penny was a most gracious hostess and the cottage was so beautiful nestled into the Italian countryside. Our location near Umbertide and north of Perugia and Sienna was perfect for making day trips throughout Umbria and Tuscany. Penny... More

I visited Prato di Sotto with my mother, partner and a friend - a motley crew indeed (!) in June and we had a wonderful week. The drive from Ancona airport was very straightforward, the house was stunning and full of character, with all of the amenities needed for a week's self-catering (we spent most evenings dining on the terrace).... My stay in Prato di Sotto was the best holiday I have had for years. The perfect location and stylish accommodation and above all Penny's presence and hospitality made it unforgetable. I would definitely recommend it as the perfect Italian escape and will return soon.

Prato di Sotto is absolute perfection. A group of beautifully-restored old buildings perched up in the Umbrian hills. The views are serene and breathtaking. The interiors rustic yet chic. And the infinity pool shared by those who inhabit this world is a beauty. Pack your car with wonderful Italian foods and wines - then settle here with family and friends... More

We loved Prato di Sotto. It is a beautiful spot, set in the hills of Umbria. We loved the sun-drenched terazzo overlooking rolling hills, fresh figs to pick to go with our proscuitto, relaxing by the pool, and having goodies such as fresh ground coffee, ollive oil made from trees grown on the property, and freshly-laid eggs awaiting us in...
