This hotel is in a beautiful old building in the centre of the picturesque and interesting village of Reepham. There are some fantastic original features including panelling , roaring open fire,a Queen Anne barley-sugar twist staircase and a courtyard at the back that could be lovely.Though it could really do with a thorough make-over and some modernisation,it was warm, comfortable,... We stayed for Xmas Break. You could not fault the food, The only good thing about the hotel is the food and the waiting staff.Hotel is very tired and run down. The carpet and curtains in our room was very old dirty and stained. It was a disappointing xmas break. Not much going on for the guests, catered for the... More

the room we were given looked nothing like the one shown in the website. It was very old worldy but very tatty. Ceiling marks from water damage, wallpaper tears and very tired. Loud music is played on a friday night and don't expect to get any sleep before midnight. Noise from locals who had been listening to the music went... More

We went for a break over the New Year. The food was fantastic and so were the staff and we even got to meet Matt who was a very pleasant person. The only thing is Oxford Inns who owns the place needs to spend some money on it. The rooms were very clean though a little dated. The location was... More

A group of four of us went for Sunday lunch at the Old Brewery House, the food was very good and reasonably priced and the service was excellent. We then went through to the lounge (with our large dog) for coffee in front of the fire. It was a shame that the restaurant was nearly empty, perhaps this reflects the... More

A group of four of us went for Sunday lunch today. I felt a certain amount of trepidation after reading previous reviews but needn't have worried. The staff were excellent both in the bar and in the restraunt, friendly and attentive without being overbearing. The food was good and great value. We relaxed in the lounge, by an open fire,... More

I will start by my attempt to phone the day before my arrival (Friday) I called all day but no one answered and no messaging service. On my arrival the reception was empty and found a man Matt doing paperwork behind the bar. I asked if anyone was at reception to which the reply was just 'No!' I then asked... More

Spent two evenings at the Hotel with friends and have to say the food was exceptional. All the reviews before this are factual particularly the friendliness of the lady staff members. The gentleman who worked at the Hotel must have been having a bad week as his sense of humour had much to be desired. Our room and bed were... More

We booked this hotel almost 11 months ago and am now very glad we did. The receptionist gave us a very warm and friendly welcome, showing us where dinner would be served (if we wanted it) in the conservatory, breakfast in the dining room and continued to take us to our respective rooms. We had an excellent supper where the... More

Located in a pleasant little town, the hotel a good place for a relaxing weekend/few days. The staff are superb especially the breakfast staff - one lady in particular, very efficient, polite and with a sense of humour!! The only thing which lets the hotel down a little is that it does need a bit of refurbishment (new paint etc)... More
