The rooms are very nice but with very bad acustics... Very good location. BUT I got a very bad food poison at this hostel and that is why I say: you have other choices-DONT TAKE THE RISK!!! Have a great trip...:)

The crowning gloryof this hostel is the location. If you're coming to this area you must stay here. Great rooms with heated blankets and heaters in the dorms, and awesomely helpful staff add to the stay. Can't say enough about this place.

The easiest way to reach the rice terraces is to get someone from where you are staying to book you onto the bus from Guilin train station. This is a great hostel in TianTou village just above Dazhai. It has the best location in the village for biews as from the front rooms you can not see any other man made house or structures except the terraces. The view is absolutely phenomenal.
