We stayed one night en route from Naples to Assisi, arriving by car. (It would not be very easy to reach by public transport.) When I read about it, I thought it looked a beautiful location, up in the hills and thought it would have a very special, peaceful atmosphere. The location was indeed beautiful but the peace was compromised... More
