Pros: We stayed in two storey Dutch House with double bed and twin beds on upper floor, kitchen, living, dining and another bedroom on ground floor. You will be amazed the moment you stepped in with all the little details they have decorated with great care. The house provides everything you need from cutlery, books to basic cooking ingredients. We wanted comfortable, self-contained accommodation for a holiday with a mix of hiking and relaxation. Fantastic location near Stirling Ranges with gorgeous views of the peaks on a beautiful and interesting property. We were in the winery quarters - well-appointed kitchen, spacious living space and bedroom. Full of quirky personal knick-knacks for a homely feel. Perfect for a couple or... More

Dear visitor, thank you for your overall positive comments and staying with us. We appreciate that some of our guest might have an issue with a pillow, after all pillows are often personal, that's why some of our guests bring their own. We provide 3 pillows for every guest in the hope some pillow will be acceptable. With regards to... More

We loved every aspect of our stay here. This place is a gem! We stayed in the Dutch Cottage and found it very comfortable and homely, everything you could need was provided. The views of the range from the property were fantastic. The hosts are very friendly and helpful. We were sad to leave on our final day and will... More

Not only is this a most unusual experience but it is excellent in every way. Our two nights in the "Winery Quarters" were very comfortable - the rooms packed with interest form Hennie's special collections. A healthy breakfast basket is delivered to your room the night before and we do recommend the delicious meals delivered so that you can enjoy... More

It's a truly inspiring place. Hennie and Pleun give you a very warm welcome in their Dutch inspired quarters. The cottages have countless typical old-Dutch style items which make the accommodation a great place to stay, particularly if you have some Dutch ancestry. Not to mention the other curiosity collections that will cheer up your day. If their restaurant is... More

Our hosts, Pleun and Hennie, are as gracious, friendly and accommodating as we remembered from our last visit. Make sure that you get a tour of the windmill to appreciate the dedication, skill and hard labor involved in this, seven year,one-man project by Pleun. We stayed in the The Winery Quarters which have no steps since we are somewhat handicapped.... More

Very relaxing, as there is not much you can do there except go for walks in the Stirling Range NP and admire the beauty of the landscape. The Lily is a "home away from home", you don't feel like in a hotel. But - you have to like the very down-to-earth style of the accomodation: Creeky doors, very basic bathroom,... More

The Lily is a timeless gem - we had a great time here, cosy and warm by the pot belly fire. The cooking was the highlight of our stay - dinners better than most Perth restaurants. We'll be going back as soon as we can!

We were recommended The Lily Dutch Windmill by a work colleague of my husband. We received a very warm welcome from Pleun, Hennie & Ted (the dog). Pleun & Hennie prepared us dinner and a breakfast basket to get us started. We stayed in the Millers Cottage which was just perfect, very cosy & comfortable ~ a lovely place to... More
