The hotel is nice. However, for the price we expected a little bit higher quality rooms. The style and obvious user traces indicate that the rooms have not been renovate for a long time. Hotel Alpenblick was a short walk from the station, easy to find and on arrival full of Swiss charm. Our room was rustic and on first impression was a bit disappointing. However, we grew to enjoy the french doors open looking onto a communal balcony, the quaint tiny corridors and sloping floors and stairs.

We booked this hotel as part of an unguided 'Christmas Tour'. Our room was decent sized, and, although the bathroom was small (as they all are in Europe) it was clean and had a great shower. The hotel is a swiss style chalet and it has loads of character and charm.
