Took the scenic train from Montruex to Interlaken, very beautiful way to come into the town. From the train station, we took a taxi not knowing how far we'd be walking with our luggage & glad we did since I didn't pack lightly. The rooms, service, view and food were all excellent here. Only downside is location we had too much luggage to walk to the train station and a taxi each way is CHF 15. Ask for a room facing the lake as the view over the water with the mountains in the backdrop is everything you expect from the Swiss alps.

Gorgeous views, central location, wonderful rooms, excellent home cakes, great staff . . . . . what more could one ask for? We were a group of 12 people. We had rooms 103 - 107. They all have a small walk out terrace and the view from the terrace is just breath taking. Definitely the number 1 hotel in Interlaken.
