“Genial hosts”

We were impressed with the facilities and the close attention to our needs by the owners and staff. Jean Pierre, owner and chef, operates a gourmet dining room. The Inn's location, close to the canal and within walking distance to the village of St. Peter's is also convenient. The best accomodations and restaurant within miles. Ted F.

“Great Retreat at Bras d'Or Lakes Inn”

Our small group enjoyed a 24-hour retreat here in the off-season. We appreciated their flexibility and their attention to the needs of a group on retreat. “Good experience”

My overnight stay was off-season and my experience might not be be the same as someone who stays in the summer. The staff was very helpful, the bed was comfortable and the room pleasant. And the meals were special-delicious. I am recommending the Bras d'Or Lakes Inn!

Thank you for taking the time to report this event. It is true that room 24 does have a humming sound from the freezers. Although it doesn't bother most people it can keep others awake. Stayed a few nights while attending Celtic Colours Festival. Found nothing but friendly, helpful and generous people working there. The efforts of the kitchen staff warrant particular mention as the dining experience was terrific!!

“comfortable and fun”

Rooms are clean and modern. Beds are comfy with high end linens. Owners are warm and friendly. Musician friendly with eveving sessions in basement pub. A great base for the Celtic Colours Festival and everything else. Nice, quiet place. We'll be back.

“Friendly, friendly, friendly”

Our night at Bras D'or Lakes Inn... We arrived very late and were met by a very pleasant lady for almost 1 am who I believe is the owner, slept in very comfortable beds, had an awesome hot buffet breakfast. Would definitely recommend and stay again!

“very enjoyable stay......especially the dinner and breakfast”

stayed one night....room was comfortable, nothing special but a rustic atmosphere in the lodge due mostly to the log building.
