My wife and I have just returned from a 2 night stay at the Tower Bank, from the moment we walked in the door we felt relaxed and "wound" down, big smile and welcome from the staff, bright warm log fire... The bar area is dominated by the cast iron range with a lovely log fire you could spend your... More

I have known and esteemed this pub for many years, so when the management changed a while back I returned with some anxiety... I needn't have worried. Anthony is doing a grand job. The location is just wonderful, and if you are a walker the pub is superbly situated to be a destination, a hub or a half-way house depending... More

My wife and i, plus my cousin and his wife ,stayed 1 night b+b November 2011. Anthony and his staff were very helpfull and friendly. The rooms and beds were comfortable and clean. The bar area is very welcoming, olde world with a big open fire. We had traditional sunday lunch, evening meal, and breakfast. All the meals were freshly... More

We've just returned from a 3 night break at the Towerbank Arms that encompassed the New Year's Eve Gala dinner and celebrations. It was truly a night to remember beginning with the lovely cocktails and canapes followed by a wonderful 6 course dinner, expertly served with a combination of entertainment and frivolity and timed to perfection to culminate with a... My husband and I stayed here in November and really most of the previous reviews especially the one by COYBL25 more or less expresses what we were going to say. We stayed four nights and each day was a joy. The breakfast is to die for, and cannot be bettered anywhere. Nothing is a trouble for Anthony and his staff.... More

We stayed at the Tower Bank Arms in mid-October 2011 and we were thrilled with our choice. Anthony was an exceptionally attentive and gracious host. Our first morning there, Anthony drove us up to Moss Eccles Tarn to experience one of the many gorgeous views in the area. Not only was Anthony and the other staff at the Tower Bank... More

I really enjoyed my stay in the hotel, everybody was very kind, always ready to help and make you feel at home. The pub looked cozy , I simply loved sitiing by the fire , drinking some of the excellent ales served there. My bedroom had a lovely window seat, I sat there watching the sheep grazing in the field... More

The Tower Bank Arms is a credit to the owner, Anthony and his team. I can only echo what previous people have written. Nothing is too much trouble. This is the first time my family and I have stayed and we stayed in the large family room - Methra for a few days. ( very comfortable with a mix of... More
