Had another (our 5th?) stay at Badwell Ash and this time we booked the whole site to celebrate a 70th birthday. Those of our party who were visiting for the first time were completely knocked out - they all plan to return. Makes you realise just how how special this place is. After several years of visiting, we have probably... More

Third year running for a girls weekend away and it gets better every time. Lovely personal touches without being overbearing. Everything is well thought out. Just turn up and relax. Perfect. Bed very comfortable with amazing bed linen.

Such a warm welcome from Clare when we arrived explaining everything that we neede to know. It has to be one of the most peaceful places we have ever been to, our lodge Heron was extremely well presented and looked exactly like the pictures on the webiste. Stephen gave us a tour of the lodge and explained how everything worked.... More

We have now visited Badwell Ash 3 times and have already booked a return visit for May 2013. By choice we always stay in Kingfisher Lodge so it's fast becoming a home from home for us. The greeting upon arrival is 5 star, the welcome hamper is 5 star and the lodge is 5 star, (as you can see we... More

Just returned from one week at the Bradwell Ash lodges and the experience can be summed up by stating excellent hot tubs, top class lodges, fantastic sauna showers, perfect relaxation and an overall top class experience. Would recommend these lodges to anyone.

I know that might sound like hyperbole but I mean it. So much so that we have visited here three times in the last 14 months staying in Kingfisher once and Wagtail twice. Previous reviews have gone into great detail about what you get and I can confirm it is all true. Champagne in the hot tub. BBQ overlooking the... More

Even the most beautiful location can still be spoiled by unsympathetic buildings or bad service. Badwell Ash is a shining example of how to get it right. Set amongst the trees around a beautiful lake filled with ducks, black swans and fish, the 4 log cabins nestle into the scenery as if they've been there for decades. It's only when... More

Returned yesterday from a week spent at this truly beautiful location. Waking up every morning to views of a lake, is the ideal start to explore all the historic villages and sites the area has to offer. Highlights were Lavenham, and the English Whisky Distillery. A fantastic hamper awaits you on arrival, which includes a bottle of champagne, which you... More
