Great location right on the banks of the river Aude. Nice rooms,great food and company. Highly recommended. Very quiet, just the sound of the river, outside dining in the summer. Good access to the mountains and rivers, white water rafting just next door. Owner friendly and very helpful

We spent 10 wonderful nights at Les Eux Tranquilles. The location is breathtaking, with stunning mountain views, very quiet, peaceful and relaxing, but with easy access to the main road to both Carcassonne plus Perignan and the coast. Read the reviews before we booked, could it be this good, and yes it certainly was. Excellent views and location, good food and a very helpful host who helped us to keep the conversation going at dinner. Odd review from Harry, seems to be the odd one out, but don't worry Chris we will be back.

The main problem with this is the host. Doesn't he go on and on and on and on. Chris is an expat who tells you at great length why he no longer lives in the UK. You are forced to listen to him all through the evening meal and again at breakfast. You cannot start a discussion with any other... More
