Kind attentive staff, wonderful breakfast, comfortable and spacious room. A bit pricey but excellent for a romantic getaway at that part of Flanders. Good restaurants and cafés within walking distance too! You can ask to have a massage (on surcharge of course) and it's well worth it.

Spent 1 night in the hotel on the way back to the UK in September. Its quite pricey for the room and the meal. Possibly we were unlucky, there was no hot water in the room when we arrived. The meal was good, but fully priced for what they served. I was expecting a really great room and a wonderful... More

You wouldn't know this hotel was here - only a few minutes walk from the town centre, tucked away in spacious and tree-filled grounds, with peacocks and chickens roaming freely. A little bit of luxury, with no parking problems. Next to the hotel is a splendid smallish chateau type building, where dinner is served - and dinner is an experience... More

We stayed here for just a night in the 'Hera' room. It is on the ground floor and is accessible with a wheelchair (So is 'Eos') The room is comfortable with a 'wetroom' style bathroom including a step free shower. The hotel staff were very helpful in ensuring we had a comfortable stay. We booked a 'Bistro Dinner' (4 Courses... More

Picked this hotel for just a one-night stay based on other favourable reports. The hotel is in a suburban street about 10 minutes walk from the central Grote Markt (town square), but when you drive in through the gates you reach the manor house and adjacent "castle" (they call it that, but it's pushing it a bit!), in extensive wooded... Please, because it is a truly wonderful little hotel and I would be very sad if it were spoiled by playing host to hordes. And that's after it managed to play host to be most energetic nephew this last weekend. In the course of setting up a new business, I have been looking for hotels offering that little bit extra... In this hotel you feel as if you have landed in paradise: the service is great, the rooms are large, clean and wonderfully decorated and the breakfast is fantastic. We haven't tried diner. Poperinge is only a very small town but ideally located if you want to combine it with a visit to Ieper or the Belgian coast.

I loved this place. Very nice room, all rooms are different. And they all have yacuzi or rain showers or ... It is awesome to stay here. Lovely full breakfast. We stopped here on November 11th, when we remeber the Great War (World War 1) and when there are a lot of visitors in the region. But here, we felt... More

Nice and romantic place to stay. We took a special arrangement and really enjoyed the relaxing room with Jacuzzi as well as the relaxing area put at our disposal only (sauna, Jacuzzi, nice breakfast…) during three hours. The evening diner was superb, nice food, original presentation, timely served with smile and clear explanations, wine à volonté. To close the diner,... More

We have already stayed 4 times in this beautifull manoir Ogygia. Each time it was a real pleasure ! The owners are very warm and welcoming people, proud to share their love of beauty with you. They build and decorated the manoir with true sense of style. The homy-cosy feel is really relaxing, the wellness very enjoyable and please take... More
