On the recommendation of our hosts where we were staying on the other side of the island, we made this our planned lunch stop when exploring the island. "A great lunch" we were told. We arrived after 1pm only to be told that the kitchen closes at 1pm ! "Could we have a coffee... a drink....we have travelled for 45... More

We have just returned from a 5 week trip around French Polynesia. This was our final hotel and it was one of the best. Its a very small (only 18 guests) boutique hotel. The food was incredible and the warm welcoming service was much appreciated. The rooms are lovely, very large and spotlessly clean. Each beach house has a very... More

The best stay we had during our honeymoon in Polynesia. The bungalows are fabulous and the decoration makes you feel at home in paradise. Everybody was so kind with us, especially Eric and Nicole, the owners who are always up to discussion and to make you feel their love of Polynesia. The food of the restaurant is marvelous, a real... Beautiful hotel at a good spot on the island. The food is fantasic and the owners very friendly. We've made a wonderfull excursion in the inlands to 3 waterfalls (les 3 cascades) and a daytrip on a yacht with 2 scuba dives. A lunch on the motu opposite of the hotel is highly recommendable. All in all a great stay... More

This place oozed charm and informality. Loved our "beach house," the private island and the FOOD. Oh, the food! Wish we could have stayed longer. Eric mentioned that if you book through a site such as Expedia, the hotel does not get any contact information. They need to explain to guests that they plan to send a van to meet you... More

This is an excellent hotel. My wife and I stayed for four nights in June 2012 as part of our honeymoon. We stayed in several hotels on several islands and it was one of the best experiences we had. It is not cheap but definitely worth the money. We really enjoyed staying here. When we arrived we were greeted by... More

We stayed here in July 2011 for 3 nights in a beach bungalow, the one completely on the left when facing the lagoon. We felt like we had our own private beach. The nice thing about this hotel is that there are only 9 bungalows, nothing like the big resorts. It was quiet and peaceful. Food was very good. Not... More
