We love staying here with Roy and Tom and experiencing their amazing breakfast and fantastic hospitality. Lloyds is always warm, welcoming, clean and homely. The rooms are quiet and cosy and the bathrooms spacious.

Great hotel, made so by the proprietor's welcoming, witty, informal manner. Food was also first class. Would def recommend and will return. Fantastic find in mid Wales. I am annoyed at this 200 character rule so will repeat, what a great B&B that serves awesome food
I stayed at Lloyd's on business for 1night and it was a truly fantastic stay from the first moment to leaving the hotel.. Tom, the host was a joy to meet and made everyone feel most welcome. When showing me to my room (7) he explained everything in detail from how the tv/Sky worked to the main fire escape for...

This charming hotel certainly lived up to it's reputation and the quirky and lovingly decorated rooms and lounge were a delight. This hotel is quite unique in creating a welcoming and friendly ambience and the food, so lovingly prepared and enjoyed, was quite sensational. My wife and I must invent an excuse to visit this area again.
Individual in every way, a pleasure to stay in this beautiful little hotel. It combines comfort with character, the welcome is warm. The room was delightful and there is a lovely little lounge, the breakfast was delicious. We arrived on bicycles which they took a lot of trouble to accommodate securely. convenient for Sustrans routes 8 & 81
We stayed at Lloyds this weekend for a family celebration and had a fantastic stay. Everything from the friendly hosts, comfortable room and wonderful food made it a perfect venue. Would thoroughly recommend.
This is our fourth stay at Lloyds. We have had the good fortune to have stayed in some of the world's wonderful hotels, yet lloyds takes the prize for providing the best overall experience. It is homely, welcoming, unpretentious, provides quality accomodation at an economical price; and should you book dinner then you are in for a culinary delight.

This little hotel is a lovely surprise. It is in a rather ordinary street but inside everything is carefully chosen. The rooms are delightful. One of the two owners is an attentive host. The other cooks, The food is quite exceptional. There is no choice. It is a five course adventure from 8 pm to 11 pm.
My wife and I stayed here while walking Glyndwr's Way. The hotel was immaculate, with an incredibly comfortable room with the best shower we experienced in three weeks of walking in Wales. Despite our utter grubbiness after a hot day on the trail, the proprietors were very warm and welcoming, and they very kindly offered to help us sort out...
