The drive was very adventurous up a high mountain with lots of curves but once arrived, the views are spectacular. There is no reception, so our keys were in our door with a note welcoming us. There were towels rolled up and slippers nicely placed on the bed with fresh flowers on the night stand and in the beautiful tiled... More

Dear previous guest, On the one hand we are happy to finally get in to a communication with you, on the other hand we are pretty frightened by your evaluation. However, we really want to take the chance here to explain the situation and circumstances of your reservation and stay, cause - as everybody may imagine - we feel strongly... More

Just back from 5 days break in Scott's and we will be back in 2013! Galilea is a beautiful village, if a little quite, with fantastic views down to the sea and set in the Majorcan hills. The hotel is run by Marcelo and his team and they do a brillant job .Nothing is a problem and Marcelo's cooking is second... I had stayed at Scott's in Benissalem some years ago. The hotel was not available so it was suggested we stayed in one of their cottages in Galilea. The cottage was tortuous to find but once the Avis hire car was safely parked amazingly unscratched, we knew we had chosen just what we needed. The cottage was light and airy... More

There are lots of things that are special about this place: fantastic views from the terrace down the valley to the sea, exceptionally quiet even in the high season when we were there, luxurious bedding and heavenly beds once you've got used to their softness after a night or two (our own feel decidedly inferior now!), basic groceries on arrival... We had a wonderful relaxing holiday in Cucuila Cottage after a week at Scotts in Binnisalem. Perfect location and attention to detail. Our visit was slightly spoiled by local building work but this was no fault of the owner. We were well looked after and enjoyed the relative isolation with option to walk out to eat at local informal cafe/bar.... More

Scotts in Galilea consists of a number of self-catering deluxe studios, suites and houses situated in the stunning Mallorcan mountainous countryside with a view that would be difficult to beaten anywhere in the world. It takes a little bit of effort to climb the steep hill in the car and find Scotts which overlooks the village of Galilea but boy... More

This place was quiet (but we were the only people there) and has a great view. However, I do not recommend it because of the price. If it had been finished and equipped to hotel standards then the price would be fine. Instead, the arrangement is pretty basic and, therefore, wildly overpriced. The place was very damp when we arrived... More

What a wonderful surprise! We recently stayed for a few days at Scott's Galilea Hotel up the hill from the ancient village of Galilea on the Spanish island of Mallorca. I didn't want to leave - ever! Been all over the world, this place ranks as one of the very best! It's a small boutique hotel looking down on tiled... More

It was our 20th wedding anniversary and I am very fussy so my husband was under pressure to find somewhere that would keep me happy. It was fairly hard to believe the reviews we had read but luckily we gave it a go - I think the reference to outstanding beds and egyptian cotton bedding did the trick. We had... More

Official Description (provided by the hotel):
Dear reader, thank you so much for your interest in us. Before we invite you to discover the untouched and authentic Majorca by staying with us, we would like to present us as new operators of Scott´Galilea. After the official closing in 2009 - we are overtaking the hotel right now, we as an enthusiastic, dynamic and professional team contributed in the rehabilitation and refurbishment works thats needed to be done. The result is simply heavenly. Our small team is running two small hotels on Majorca - one in Paguera -and - the other one in Galilea. Both hotels do have different concepts, but they are operated by the same team with the same spirit -the immense energy and enthusiasm in fullfilling the guests expectations. In the following we will describe the hotel, the concept, the location and some unique specialities. However, we are convinced that one thousand words can´t express the real beauty and uniqueness of this hideaway! If you need some more info or if you just have some questions - please don´t hesitate in contacting us. We would be more than happy to welcome you soon at Scott´s Galilea. One of the most loveliest spots on the island of Mallorca ... Scott's Galilea is a small retreat, located in the south-west, just 20 minutes from Palma. Up here on his mountain spur 560m in height, it still breathes the fresh air and listening to the bells of the church. By the way, Galilea was elected several times to the most beautiful village in Mallorca. Built on an old terracing, above the village, overlooking the garden, the resort Scott's Galilea offers an extremely inspiring environment that combines absolute privacy and individuality. The Scott´s, spread over a three-hectare site, on a hillside on 4 levels, offers three senior suites (which recreates the cozy and comfortable atmosphere of a vacation home) and seven spacious Studio Suites. The living areas are all different in size and lovingly furnished and equipped, furthermore all units do offer fully equipped kitchens. The bedrooms are equipped with high-quality handmade beds. Each residential area has its own south-facing terrace. From here you can look over a green mountain valley down to the sea, surrounded by a pristine and unrestricted Mallorca. All the attention to detail, the special flavor (architect: Pedro Otzoup), the warmth of the hotel services and a commitment to quality characterizes Scott's Galilea. It offers something special and rare: sweet tranquility. Galilea is located astride a network of mountain paths, directly behind the small hideaway, the trail starts to the legendary 'Galatzo'. Golf and water-sports locations are in the reach of a just 20 minute drive. For meetings, seminars and parties, the inviting outdoor terraces and a banquet hall may be used.     ... more   less
