Stayed at the Princess Garden for 5 nights this April and it was a very good experience. Excellent location just a couple of minutes away from Meguro station, which is well located for easy access for pretty much anywhere you want to be in Tokyo. The room was fine, size was what I expected for Tokyo. There was space enough... More

We stayed 3 nights here with 18 high school students in April. The hotel has a large lobby with becautiful Japanese garden with Koi pond. However, rooms are very basic and small. The pillow was so hard and I have to ask for a softer pillow next day. Good enough for price we paid.

This hotel is located very close to Meguro station so was very handy for the subway. We spent 3 nights here and our first impressions of the place were good. Very nice spacious lobby with a cute garden at the back. There was even a pond that had large Koi Carp swimming in it. The rooms however are VERY basic.... More

Hotel located very quite place even in busy/big city in Tokyo and not far (200m) from MEGURO station and easy to go by foot. It is fine for short stay (2-3 days). Plus Location Quite (away from big city noise) Price (not easy to find same price level hotel in Tokyo) Minus Small room especially bath room

Stayed here with 5 people over 3 rooms in February 2013, firstly contrary to some of the other reviews this hotel has free wifi in every room, free, fast wifi also mentioned was the lack of controls for the heating/cooling while an element of this is true (you cannot control the temperature) you do have control of the fan speed... I stayed here with 5 other people in December 2012. I have stayed here previously in 2009 and 2010. We booked non smoking rooms with double beds. On arrival we where presented with twin rooms (2 x single beds) and smoking rooms. Our rooms had cigarette burns in the carpet and on the beds. The rooms smelt terrible. When asking... More

We took a twin room for one night in early October, then returned for 2 more nights the following week. The bathroom is really small, as in many Japanese hotels, but very clean. The internet connection was fast and faultless at all hours. The room is pretty basic and the fridge on the first night was noisy so we decided... More

We stayed a week at this hotel in March 2012 and would highly recommend it. We were expecting small rooms (based on other reviews), but it compared well to quality hotels in London. The bathrooms are small in Japan (except near the airport). This hotel felt classy and was well located. The N'Ex from Narita Airport takes you to Shinagawa,... More

I stayed at Princess Garden for 2 nights on a last minute booking in May 2012. The points below are things I noticed and/or thought came in handy. It is quite fancy when u walk in- esp with that pond of giant Koi fish they do in the foyer. Below are the cons: -Potentially small for Westerners. If you go... More

This hotel is good value for Tokyo, and the rooms are fine and clean, but it's nothing out of the ordinary. The basic rooms are very small and in winter are way over-heated which makes them very stuffy. I'm also not keen on the hard beds and bean pillows, but this seems to be standard for Japan.
