This hotel was perfect for me. Excellent location near Shinjaku Station just 3 blocks away where you can get subway and train to anywhere in Tokyo. Checking at hotel was very easy even though clerks are not fully bi-lingual japanes-english. Got a room on 31st floor with great view of the city. Lots of amenities and detail, very large safe... This felt like a huge step up after staying in the Keio Plaza in Hachioji. In truth, the lobby was five stars, and the room was 3 1/2 stars. It is definitely a full service hotel, and I was even able to get an in-room hour long massage for $50 at midnight. The biggest plus was being less than a... More

(Based on a 5 night stay). The Keio Plaza Hotel Shinjuku was an amazing hotel to stay at. I'm not a big traveller, but Japan was my dream holiday and I wanted some good hotels, and the Keio Plaza was as good I could have hoped for. Of course, all people are different, so no experience is the same, but... More

I stayed for the second time since my last trip to Japan in 2004. This hotel had really surprised me at that time. Unfortunately It has been disappointing from different angles. First I would not recommend staying in Shijuku but to stay at Shibuya (more activities day and night) and there are very good options at the same price of... More

We stayed in KP Shinjuku at the beginning and end of an intensive tour. Really comfortable rooms with all we needed, except English Tea Bags (!). My wife enthused over the wild Japanese Washlet toilet - you have to experience them to understand how technology can make life more pleasant!!

A large hotel, clearly oriented to business travellers, conferences and executive "belly-rubs." The rooms were the standard L-shape with bathroom cut-out. The general air of the place was that it would not been out of place in central London or Frankfurt. The hotel is very busy, so it was important to get down fairly early for breakfast, otherwise there are... More

We stayed for 6 nights. We arrived late at the hotel because our flight to Tokyo was delayed. We were checked in really fast and the front desk person was really helpful. We got the Plaza Premier room type because a friend recommended it, and true enough - the room was quite big! It was comfortable - considering we were... More

Stayed for a few nights in April to catch the cherry blossom season of Tokyo. Close proximity to the subway, which proved essential in the cool weather! 2 blocks away from the hotel is an area complete with every type of Japanese food you'll look for, it has yakiniku or the regular plated sushi / sashimi, ramen or even the... This hotel has a great location close to Shinjuku station and close to shopping and restaurants. Not that the hotel doesn’t have its own restaurant options there are about 7 or 8 offering a good variety from teppanyaki (which we had and was amazingly nice), traditional Japanese and tempura restaurant - also the cocktail bars within the hotel are really...
