I didn't pick this hotel, my Japanese friend did and for some good reasons, it was really near to the place where I had meetings. The problem with The B Akasaka is that the room has more than half of its space for the bathroom, leaving the bed area really small. There's also no closet, just a few hangers on... More

Dear VictoriaSommers Thank you for your comment after your recent stay – the sushi shop you visited is one of our favorites too. As you point out we are at the top of one of the hills in the area and it can be a little extra walk to the hotel, however many of our guests appreciate that’s it a... More

Lovely small (compared to the big hotel chains) hotel in a good location for commuting around Tokyo. Located on a hill so we caught a taxi there rather than try to haul our suitcases to the hotel. Staff were very friendly and polite. The rooms, although small, were very clean and comfortable. If you arrived with a lot of luggage... More

We extended our stay here a couple of times as it was a nice and friendly hotel! It is slightly away from the main tourist area of Akasaka and on top of the hill (so with suitcases you probably want to consider getting a taxi). The rooms were good for sleep they had nice beds (but a little bit on... More

medium size hotel, rooms are very small, but perfectly clean and new. Staff speaks english and vey kind. Breakfast could be improved especially the continental breakfast selection. B hotel is located 5 minutes walk from akasaka subway, although it is a steep walk to get back from the subway to the hotel. The price is very good, I would definateely... More

I stayed here for my last 2 nights in Tokyo at the end of a 3 week holiday in Japan. The room was clean and the staff friendly. The breakfast was adequate although the wifi in the lobby was painfully slow. The hotel is relatively close to Akasaka subway station. If you have a heavy suitcase do not take exit... More

Dear the_thorne, Thank you for staying the b akasaka and we appreciate you taking the time to share your comments on the hotel. About location, If you have a heavy suitcase, it would be better take exit 3a, not 3b and 7. Because there is an escalator and it takes about 5 min from akasaka station to our hotel. We... More

Stayed in this hotel for 5 nights. What an amazing find! The hotel is conveniently located, in a quiet area and is less than 5mins from the Tokyo metro (Akasaka station) a 10 minute walk to Tokyo midtown and 10 minute walk in opposite direction to Akasaka Mitsuke where restaurants and bars abound. The staff speak English and were most... More

Everything about the B Akasaka screams quality from the moment you walk through the door. The staff is extremely polite and efficient, and eveything from check-in to check-out was done with ease. The rooms are small, but very clean and modern. Though be warned, there's a lot of see through glass windows and door to separate the bathroom from the... More
