This is the dream hotel for many a bride, so the hotel is especially crowded during the weekends, and it's common to see wedding party and guests. Gardens at Chinzan-So are lovely, and beautifully lit up at night. There are many restaurants to choose from, though they are expensive, even the cafe and the lounge. But if you were worried... More

The Four Seasons Tokyo at Chinzan-so is a modern, red-brick high-rise (somewhat similar in exterior design to the one in Boston), set amid beautiful grounds and in a quieter pocket of the bustling Japanese city. The overall feeling is one of slightly dated luxury -- from the spacious public areas clad in green marble and furnished with cookie-cutter pieces evoking... More

My partner and I have just spent a wonderful week at the Four Seasons Chinzan-so, and I can wholeheartedly recommend it as a terrific refuge from the hustle and bustle of mid-town Tokyo. The hotel borders a beautiful park, and there are lots of picture windows everywhere to enjoy the luxurious growth of bamboo and flowering trees and plants. It... More

I stayed 2 nights in this hotel. Service was very good.. however it was abit disappointing when we first walked into our room..where we specifically specified NON smoking, yet we got a smoking room in a NON smoking floor! they explained that sometimes the suite is used for weddings..but still.. we did pay for a non smoking suite! another point... Just one of the best hotel experiences I could imagine - friendly polite and excellent staff..... fresh coffe in the lobby early in the am, great restaurants, paper every morning, beautiful views and close to subway...very convenient - half the price of the downtown hotels..... More

Me and my wife went there in early December for 4 days to see the changing colour of the trees. We don't have to go out from our room to see the koyo because the Chizanso garden was just beneath us. I went to the spa everyday before breakfast. There was an outdoor heated jacuzzi with green, yellow and red... More

My wife and I have visited Tokyo once a year since 2005. Initially we stayed at a hotel in the Ginza area such as Imperial Hotel. Since we found the Four Seasons at Chyinzan-so, we have been going there. It is not a new establishment, but everything is impecably maintained. The hotel has two features worth noting: 1) it has... I stayed at the four seasons June 2011 and it was a pleasant experience. The service is absolutely wonderful and lives up to the four seasons standards. The room is HUGE for Tokyo sized hotel and the bathroom is beautiful. The only downside to the room is that it is a bit outdated and not as modern as some of... More

We stayed at this hotel for three nights in July 2011. It has all that one would expect from a Four Seasons: great comfortable rooms, nice furnishings, swimming pool (which our teenage sons liked -- it was good for them to cool off and get some relief from the hot and humid summer weather) which unlike some other hotels you... My trip in Japan was wonderful in all aspects until I met some of the consierge staff at Four Seasons at Chinzan - so. It applies especially the young female staff there. They were not able to give any proffessional service. Instead they were smiling in a scornfully way, showed the worst of arrogant behaviour and asked me if I... More
