Spent 16 nights there on a business trip. The staff could not be more attentive and made us really feel at home. The rooms are good, the wireless internet works, and the food was above par. The best times were had in the evenings in the pub, as it should happen in Ireland. Jack and Aidan, the barmen, excelled at... More

I travel this area 3 - 4 times a year, and i will always endevour to book this hotel, as happy smilling friendy staff is what its all about for me! A cozy traditional pub and B&B, a limited but good standard of food, centralised location to get out and about, the sea right on your door step, who could... More

If you want an authentic Irish Pub and B&B experience, stay at Crotty's! The sun was going down on us after a long day of of driving, and we stopped at the first bed and breakfast sign we found. I'm so glad that it was for Crotty's. From the staff to the owners, everyone was laid back, friendly and so... More

I have to do business in Kilrush frequently and the food there has always been expensive but adequate. Unfortunately in the last 6 months, it has gone from adequate to terrible. The last time was the fish and chips. The chips were undercooked and cold and the fish batter was inedible, whilst the salad portion was very meagre. Another time... More

We arrived quite late but were greeted like long lost friends, we were shown to our room which was quaint to say the least, very traditional, tiny bathroom but nontheless very clean. We ordered food in the bar downstairs and it could not be faulted, we went on to have a few drinks in the very typical Irish bar with snugs... More

This pub and town are incredible. Completely incomparable to anywhere else I have been. The people are fun-loving, generous, ridiculously helpful and kind. I can't really explain how much fun I had there. The pub is very traditional, with everything from a warm fire to a long wooden bar. It has a warm and contented feel about it; which may... More

Walk-in. Stayed one night (Tuesday) end of September A very quaint pub/hotel on the town square. The rooms are accessed through another door on the street next to the pub/restaurant part. There is a real mixture of different rooms, all nicely decorated with antiques, ensuite bathrooms, TV. Some of the rooms front onto the town square, but aren't noisy. The... More

Crottys is quirky and fabulous! The rooms are above the pub, and due to it being an old establishment, the stairs are narrow, so hard work carrying suitcases up them. The landlord kindly helped us. All the staff were very helpful and courteous, and nothing was too much trouble for them. The food was good, and the room clean and... More
