We stayed here 2 nights and we should have stayed longer. Loretto and Roy were brilliant and so was the breakfast! The room was clean and tidy and the bed was so comfortable.I would thoroughly recommend this B&B to anyone. The views are fantastic and on a clear day you can see fromPortrush to Londonderry, a distance of 55 miles! More

The earlier reviews have got it ; Roy and Loretto are lovely hosts and make their home very welcoming to guests. From an offer of tea/coffee/herbal tea on arrival to fresh fruit salad with breakfast, they go the extra mile to meet the needs of visitors. By going the extra mile off the main road you get a super view... More

A lovely welcome from Loretta and Roy. There's a big hill to climb unless you get a taxi from Greencastle, but hey the view is spectacular...a sight I will never forget. The facilities were good, the decoration inside was full of character and everywhere was spotlessly clean. Being cooked breakfast in the morning felt like you were at home with... More

We spend four fabulous days in the house of Loretta and Roy. I'll recommend this place highly. It surely makes the warm feelings I have for Ireland greater. I hope I will come there again. Rita Van Gerven Belgium More

I recommend this B&B very highly. As the name suggests, it it high on the hill overlooking Lough Foyle. The views were absolutely amazing. The hosts were also very charming and thoughtful, and made a really good breakfast. Great coffee too! I wish I could have eaten more. The rooms are furnished with modern pine furniture and the bathrooms are... More

Highly recommended. The view from our window was jaw-dropping. The hosts, Loretta and Roy, were very helpful, professional and friendly. Breakfast was really excellent - like being in the Hilton. The place was absolutely immaculate and evidently Loretta is a real perfectionist. Every last detail has been thought through, from Scrabble in the communal sitting room, to a choice of... More

Hilltop Lodge is wonderful. We stayed for one night in May 2009 and didn't want to leave. Loretta and Roy are lovely people and their home is beautiful. The whole place is finished to a really high standard and it is beyond clean! We were welcomed with coffee and biscuits, which was a nice touch. Our room was really nice... More

We had a lovely two night stay at HIlltop Lodge in April 2009. It's simply the best B&B we've ever stayed in, and we can't recommend it highly enough - it's brilliant. The B&B is located up a hill above Greencastle, with fantastic views over the lough to Northern Ireland. It's about 5 minutes from the car ferry to Northern... More

This was a wonderful place to stay. My husband and I stayed at nine B&B's and one hotel during our three week stay in Ireland, and this was one of the two best. The view was absolutely extraordinary. The place was lovely with art and artifacts everywhere. We were made to feel right at home and our hosts were both... More
