I stayed here with my husband, son and sister the last day of our 10 day vacation after staying at 4 other B&B's. Although each B&B had good qualities, this B&B stood out like a gem because the rooms and service was hotel quality. The rooms were nicely decorated, the beds were extremely comfortable, the showers were great and worked... More

My partner and i stayed here for 2 nights whilst on a tour of County Clare, that included a medieval banquet at the nearby Bunratty Castle. Rosemary, the host, made us feel welcome straight away with a wonderful tray of fresh tea, coffee and homemade cakes and scones. The room was very clean and well decorated although a little small/narrow.... More

We had such a great stay. I can't wait to go back. Highbury House is just down the road from Dirty Nellie's and Bunratty Castle. The charming couple that run Highbury made us feel like family. The rooms were clean, comfortable and spacious. The baked goods at breakfast were a dream come true. More

Highbury House is conveniently located near Bunratty Castle. The beautiful grounds and charming house are as warm and welcoming as the Ormstons themselves. The well appointed rooms were spacious, clean, and relaxing. Rosemary is a superb cook. We sat down to a scrumptious breakfast each morning. The Ormstons are congenial hosts, and gave us a wonderful feel for friendly, Irish... More

Rosemary and Jack Ormston run one of the most wonderful, welcoming B&Bs in Ireland! Just outside of Bunratty, Highbury Homestead sits on beautiful grounds. Rosemary and Jack were so gracious and personable, and such interesting people, by the time we left we felt as though we should be sending them a Christmas card! A true slice of friendly, Irish culture.... More
