Aemonn and Catherine are very friendly and helpful hosts. We only stayed 3 nights but would certainly recommend longer. They could not do enough to help you. The room was lovely and clean and breakfast very good, especially the seed Lovely place to stay. Aemonn and Catherine could not do enough to help you. You were welcomed on arrival with... More

This is our third stay at Cloonlara Lodge in 5 years and it is still one of the best. The food is always top notch and locally sourced and nothing is to much trouble. The owners are always friendly. Very clean and big rooms to stay in. We had a fire lit every night in the lounge which made it... More

This is simply the best B&B I have ever stayed at. Good location off the Dublin road about half mile east of Swinford (NB not where shown on google map so make sure you have the correct directions). Welcoming and helpful propietors happy to talk as much as you want. Clean and comfortable rooms. Superb breakfast selection. Great value. Free... More

Lovely B & B, we stayed just for one night in a beautiful large room. Breakfast was the best we had had during our two weekes tour of Ireland. Catherine and Eamonn were away on holiday but do not worry their daughter did them proud. Thanks for a lovely stay

I chose this b&b only for its location, and was satisfied with that, it's about 10 minutes drive from Knock Airport. This is not the only reason why i would stay there again: Eamonn and his wife, the owners, are lovely persons. Genuinely friendly, more helpful and willing to share their knowledge of the area (and irish culture if you... More

Just so perfect, Had a horrible morning with the flight and bags etc..landed at knock. Ended up drowned whiles walking to the rental desk outside in car park. We arrived two hours early at the B&B, we could hear the guys hoovering and tidying the rooms upstairs. We shouted up "hello" to which Eamonn shouted back from upstairs "come round... More

This stay was a wonderful experience. After a tiring day and trouble with our rental car we were warmly welcomed by Eamonn who calmed us down with tea and Catherine's excellent cake. We did like our room and slept very well. In the morning we were served a rich breakfast. Eamonn helped us effectively to solve our car problem making... More

Cloonlara Lodge is very well located and relatively easy to find once you're in Swinford. I wanted for nothing in the room I stayed in, and given the B&B's proximity to the main road, I slept like a baby and was not once disturbed by traffic. I was visiting Swinford for a sporting event and the landlady catered to my... More

One of the best B&Bs we've ever stayed in. Large room, comfortable bed, beautiful view. In the ensuite, the shower was great. There were three highlights for us: 1. Bruno, their dog is adorable and kept us entertained while unloading and loading the car, a big old lush!; 2. Catherine was a lovely lady (sorry Catherine, had to mention Bruno... More

Bruno and I thank you for your kind comments - I don't mind sharing the limelight with my 'soul-mate' (just don't tell Eamonn!!) We're delighted that you enjoyed your stay with us and hope to see you again. Cheers, Catherine. More

If one could give 6 stars this would be the place to deserve them. The room was of a good size with open views. The en-suite was also of a fair size and the shower was superb! The hosts; Catherine and Eamonn certainly know how welcome you and keep you well served. The breakfasts are as large as you want... More
