Hadn't stayed in a B and B for many years preferring cottages and/or hotels. The Great Seaside B and B shows just how far B and Bs have come in recent years. We had a large room on the ground floor with a large en suite shower room. The decor was a delighful mix of old and new and the... More

We've travelled annually to Branscombe area for the past 22 years, but this is the first time we stayed at Great Seaside B & B, and we can't wait to go back. I went with my Mother and Niece for 2 nights, which wasn't enough!, the house is amazing, in a fantastic location and our host Amanda was lovely. Might... More

My wife booked us in for a surprise birthday treat for me, knowing how much I love Brandscombe, and knowing how much we have admired and thought about staying at the Great Seaside Farmhouse. We were lucky enough to have got a late cancellation during what has obviosuly been a busy season for them. Despite the weather, we enjoyed a... More

Our stay at Great Seaside was perfect. We were made so welcome and nothing was too much trouble. The only downside was that we had to go home! We travelled with our two year old and Amanda was just brilliant offering suitable cutlery as well as preparing breakfast in a child friendly way. Our daughter was delighted to find that... More

A very comfortable quiet and relaxing B&B close to the beach. In a good location for exploring and walking. No huge sea views. Clean and tidy house. Excellent breakfasts and a very nice helpful host. More

We stayed for 4 nights, 2 adults and 3 children aged 10 yrs and over. The children stayed in the 3 bed family room and we also occupied the upstairs double room. There is a large bathroom with bath, separate shower and twin wash basins, situated between the 2 upstairs bedrooms. It might not be suitable for 3 young children... More

A beautiful bed & breakfast located in a bucolic valley along the Jurassic Coast. The rooms are very comfortable, particularly for a 16th and 17th century building. Our host was great, and there are plenty of great walks above the cliffs, into town of Branscombe and along the beach. There are 2 great pubs and The Bakery (tea house) within... More

My husband, nearly 2 year old and I stayed here for two nights at the end of June. The accommodation was lovely, and we really enjoyed our stay. The B&B is just minutes from the beach and all its facilities. Amanda was very friendly and accommodating and the breakfast was lovely. Plus she provided all the equipment we needed for... More

I had not visited Branscombe for more than 25 years and it really does not seem to have changed. A pretty and quiet coastal village nestling in a National Trust owned valley. I was delighted with the Great Seaside B&B. Amanda made us very welcome. Our room on the ground floor was spacious with a well appointed shower room adjacent.... More

This is an emaculate place to stay. Comfort and style combined made a simple stayover very good indeed. More
