After having such a perfect wedding at Glenfinnan we've now celebrated our 1st and 2nd anniversaries at the hotel. Each time we've been welcomed back as though we were a member of the family. It good to see familiar faces amongst the staff and the little touches really made a difference. The service, food, location and pretty much everything is... More

We came back to Glenfinnan a year on from our wedding to celebrate our first anniversary. The hotel didn't disappoint second time around. We stayed in the Jacobite Suite again with it's lovely 4 poster bed, stunning views across the Loch to Ben Nevis and were treated in the same exemplary way we were when we had the whole hotel... My husband and I stayed here one night last week. A grand old hotel, beautifully looked after. We had room 22 which although was a bit of a climb up to the second floor, it was out of the way and quiet. The bathroom was a delightful surprise, huge and new with a spa bath. Dinner was delicious. We had... More

Stayed here with my wife and kids (8 & 11) for 3 nights rest having just walked the West Highland Way with my son. We really enjoyed our stay. We had rooms 9 & 10 which were connected via a door. The hotel decor is lovely as are the grounds. Service was impeccable. We ate twice in the restaurant and... More

Lisa and I stayed here last Tuesday for one night on a trip around Scotland, the hotel staff were very friendly, the food was great and the view from the bedroom window was something special. We will be back!!!

We took advantage of the special offer buy one get one free so long as we had dinner. Superb food. Nice not having a TV anywhere and roaring log fire in the reception / hall. Really homely and relaxing and very helpful friendly staff.

We really enjoyed our evening and night at Glenfinnan House Hotel. Beautiful place. Will definitely go back! The view, the setting, the dinner , everything was perfect ! We could even see Ben Nevis from the Hotel, still covered with a cap of snow.

Great hotel, nice and quiet, very relaxing. Great staff and good food. Very reasonable price too. A very short notice break, reservation by phone, no problem. Welcomed on arrival, made to feel comfortable. Room had a view over the loch, ccomfy bed and ensuite shower. Plenty of walks around to stretch the legs, warm fire and good bar to return... More

Just had a most wonderful wedding on the 4th of May at the hotel. Food excellent, staff extremely friendly and helpful. Manja and Duncan and staff were exceptional in making our day so special and all our guests feel welcome and relaxed. Weather awful but what do you expect in the Highlands, did not dampen our spirits as the whole... More

I've just been back for my second visit - a 10th wedding anniversary - and was just as blown away by the fabulous views & tranquillity of the loch-side setting as I was when we went to the wedding itself. The hotel itself is a beautiful and very atmospheric building, appropriately Scottish without being overdone. 10 years ago, the room... More
