- Official Description (provided by the hotel):
-
The star system that Amercians have become acustomed to, such as 2-3-4 and 5 star hotels would lead you to believe that this gem, a few steps from the water at Punta Sal would be better suited for the college student. You would be misinformed. The 10 room Hostel is more like a quaint inn by the most extraordinary beach on the pacific ocean. If we were to translate the name HUA, which is a name that the proprietor originally created, it would actually mean "DISAPPEAR". The name has a stronger significance than anyone realized, because that is what you are able to do when you stay at HUA. The stresses of your world drift off in the sunset, they melt away in the sea air and are comforted by the delicious mealtime offerings that provide more choices than you have time. The bar offers the famous Peruvian Pisco Sour that emminates tropical fun and you will find yourself cradeled in the kindness of the staff. The accomodations are comfortable and the service is beyond friendly. You might feel that you are visiting your favorite relatives that have a great place by the sea. Any time of the year is beach time at Punta Sal, there is no need to wait until high season as any month provides perfect weather. There is no need to venture past this beautiful jewel, but if you must to gain a change of pace to another close by beach town, you will be happy that you anchored yourself a home base in Northern Peru Puenta Sal at HUA.
