Everyone tries very hard but the whole place is just getting to be a bit too old and tired. The staff are really friendly, but the breakfast routine and regime is a bit Disciplined with a tannoy call announcing "Breakfast is Ready" at 8 a.m. On the dot. And do not enter the breakfast room before 8 or else!!!!!!

I stayed at the Grandpapa for 1 week and found the place to be absolutely a delight! Great hospitality and you get the chance to meet many people from all over the world. A real communal feel, you are treated like family and a great BIG breakfast each morning to get you started for a full day's skiing!
