“Friendly no frills hotel with excellent restaurant”

Simple hotel for whoever just wants a place to sleep. Very friendly owner/manager + excellent (although not very cosy) restaurant. We had here the best dinner during our one week tour of Kreta. Hotel Alexis is the perfect distance from Chania centre. There are two routes to walk, neither very far but also the buses are easy and cheap. “One of the most welcoming hotels”

We stayed 3 days at Alexis hotel. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. The room was clean and had a great view. We had a great dinner and breakfast for a very reasonable price. Overall, we had a wonderful time. It made our trip to Crete so much better.

The views from the hotel rooms and restaurant are indeed very nice. I am happy that you enjoyed the dinner and breakfast and that you felt welcome at Alexis hotel. I hope to see you again soon. More

Alexis hotel is located some 45-50 mins walk away from the Chania harbour, at least if you take the more bearable route along the beach avoiding the busy main road, which has no pavements most of the way.
