We enjoyed an excellent couple of meals at The Ellerby. It's in a lovely setting, still convenient to Whitby. A bright fire made up for the dismal weather. Lunch menu was varied, satisfying and good value, and the evening meals were exceptionally good. Would recommend booking a table at busy times.

As below, we would certainly stay again. Handy for Whitby, Robin Hoods Bay etc. excellent food, friendly staff, good value for money. This is an ideal place for breakfast, lunch or evening meal. All cooked to perfection using local traders produce. High standard of cleanliness and staff are friendly and professional. Although we have never stayed in the accomodation, friends of ours have and report this to also be to a high standard. Try this place out....you will not be disappointed.
