We stayed here for one night on our wedding anniversary. I wish we'd stayed longer! The baches are extremely comfortable with quality fittings. We especially loved the gas fires. The outlook is serene and beautiful with the vines, olive trees and river. Michael was very helpful and friendly and overall we couldn't fault our stay. We will definitely return!

Pleasant beds and a lovely setting. Third bedroom is a garage with a fully exposed garage door. No bathroom here so person who slept in there had to go into another bedroom to get access to a bathroom. No carpet on floor and the places creaks. No sound insulation so very noisy. We stayed 3 nights and from start to finish our experience was thoroughly enjoyable. Michael's hospitality is amazing, the cottages are trendy, clean and comfortable and from the balcony have beautiful views out over the river and rolling hillside. The starry night sky was stunning. We stopped here on our first night in New Zealand as it was roughly 1 hour from the airport (we were on our way to Paihia and have learned by experience not go drive for 4 hours after an international flight). We were very impressed with this accommodation, cleanliness and situation. We would recommend this accommodation unreservedly.
