We spent Easter 2013 in Majorca (Mallorca) in Spain, the resort was Pura Vida which is an upmarket wellness (spa) for Tui holiday company. Excellent vacation for the family and a lovely resort. Would definitely recommend it to other families wanting a spa facility and enjoyment for the kids with a kids club to mind the children from 3yrs upwards.

We stayed at the Puravida for a week with a 12 and 14 year old in August. Its a big complex but never felt too overcrowded apart from the usual scrum when the restaurant opened so we just went later. Nice views of the bays, Choice of restaurants bit limited with kids but the main one was great (BBQ and... More

It's the only one 5-star hotel in PortoPedro. Prices started from about 60 euros for the simplest room. Hotel is pretty new, opened in 2006. The hotel spa is amazing, included in room price. In high season hotel is crowded, because there is about 300 rooms.

We stayed here for 7 nights in October 2012. I can't fault it which is very unusual for me! The room was very modern and beds very comfortable. W are a family of 4 so had a big family suite with one large room and one lounge area with a sofa bed. Two bathrooms worked well as we a used... More

Wow. I'm young, been to a lot of posh hotels and resorts and this one is at the top, along with Pine Cliffs Resort in Portugal. Both are 5* star hotels and very expensive-this one costs €1,000 a night for at the nicest rooms (suites) which I stayed in for 4 nights. I will go again for sure. The swimming... More

We spent three nights here in October and thoroughly enjoyed it. It is a large resort spread over a campus with pleasant gardens, 3 large swimming pools, 9 tennis courts, spa facilities, 3 restaurants, multiple bars etc. We were on full board and found the food very good. Most of the guests are Germans and they are a demanding clientele.... More

We visited in April, still early for a summer holiday, but we did not have any day of bad weather and even could do some sunbathing around lunch time, without trying to be brave. Hotel breakfast and dinners were varied, fresh and delicious. Service was friendly. The only downturn were the gas buggies running until 11pm, making quite some noise.... More

The resort is vast and the buggies are very helpful when trying to get round the resort. The adult area is very relaxing and kept to a high standard. There were the usual difficulties of towels being placed on the loungers, particularly the large beds and not being used for the most part of the day. The adjacent beach is... More
