We stayed two nights at deBarra Lodge whilst visiting family in Rosscarbery earlier this month (Sept 2012). The rooms were fantastic (clean, modern and tastefully decorated), the breakfast was excellent (my father still keeps talking about Sinead's delicious freshly baked scones), and the family was delightful as hosts. We mentioned to our relatives that they should definitely have future visitors... More

Quite simply the very best B&B we have ever stayed in. Sinead and Dan were the perfect hosts and provided a lovely place to stay. The tea and cake in the sitting room to welcome us after our journey to Rosscarberry was most welcome and typified the warmth of the welcome and high levels of attention to detail. Our room... More

I stayed at deBarra Lodge during the Liss Ard Festival in Skibbereen recently. It is the best guesthouse I have ever stayed at, with all the comforts of a great hotel but thankfully not the excessive heat. Having slept like a baby, enjoyed a fabulous hot bath, had a delicious breakfast, I was festival-ready and will definitely return. Sinead and... More

Debarra Lodge is the best B&B we have ever stayed in, what a fantastic house, Sinead and Dan have managed to provide five star quality for three star prices. the room provided for my wife and I was first class, furnished to a very high standard with a large comfortable bed panoramic views from the windows and a large ensuite... My family and I stayed here recently for 6 days. Out of all the B&B's we stayed at in Ireland the deBarra Lodge was our favorite! Both the breakfast and the accommodations were amazing! Sinead and her family could not have been more welcoming and kind to us, they really made us feel right at home! We would love to... More

My partner and I stayed here for one night while attending a wedding at the Celtic Ross Hotel. I’m not normally a B&B kind of person because they usually lack the same quality & facilities of nearby hotels, but I am extremely glad to report that the deBarra lodge rivals even some of the 4 star hotels we have stayed... We stayed for two nights recently. We were guests at a wedding held at the Celtic Ross hotel on New Years Eve. This B&B is the most charming place with all the home comforts and yet in every way like a hotel. We are certainly glad that we stayed there and not the hotel itself. Sinead and Dan are extremely... Can't add any more superlatives to previous reviews. But, we have to say it's an Irish B&B experience beyond hype. Never stayed in a better one. The owners couldn't do enough for us - "beyond the beyonds". Thanks Dan & Sinéad, a real credit to you. We'll be back....(be warned). Des & Louise

Dan and Sinead the perfect hosts, the location was brilliant for where we wanted to be. The rooms where fantastic, nothing was any trouble, you asked for a service, it was sorted as quickly as was possible. I would recommend Debarra Lodge to anyone who would love to have a superb stay away from home. This is a brilliant Home... More
