Birthplace of King Kamehameha the uniter of the Islands, Kohala proudly honors the King with a magnificent statue which heralds the entrance to Kapaau Road. We are located 1/4 mile "mauka" (uphill). The Kohala Coast has diverse beaches, excellent hiking, many cultural events, a variety of restaurants and scenery from magnificent vistas of ocean,mountains,pastures to tropical forests,waterfalls,much history and great people. We have been in hosting happy guests for 13 years and love sharing our treasures. This is a very friendly family place! “automatic relaxation”

The quiet, the broad views of pastures, the sea in the distance, the varied rooms, and the warmth of the owner and host, Bobi Moreno, make this a wonderful getaway place! Bobi also pointed out a restaurant we hadn't experienced before: Sushi Rock. We enjoyed a great and unusual dinner there.

“Beautiful setting, comfortable rooms, nice staff”

My girlfriend and I stayed there for about a week, moving from the Garden Bedroom to the Cozy and back. Each was very comfortable. It's hard to beat the setting, and the owner was great--directing us to local beaches, etc. It's a much nicer atmosphere than you'll find in the resorts along the Kona coast, and I'd definitely recommend it.

“Mellow Laid Back”

My girlfriend and I stayed only one night but loved this hidden gem. Located near Hawii, one of the coolest towns on the island, this farm guest house is great super clean great rooms great grounds, Bobbi the owner is warm and inviting. We stayed here for two nights, and had a nice relaxing break from our bike trip around the island. Bobi (the owner) was a gracious hostess, our room was fantastic. Big room, Big deck, great view, kitchenette. My ONLY complaint is that her dogs did tend to bark a lot at night... up to around midnight! Not much going on... More

It's always a pleasure to host "adventurers". It's great when cyclists decide to stay at least two nights so they can see the area.I'm happy to try to be available to drop "bikers" off at restaurants and pick them up, but you were totally self sufficient!
