Points of Interest

1. Remains of Mill House

The foundations of an old mill are obvious on the east side of the river here. No information around about what the mill was used to produce, but still an interesting remnant.

2. Steelhead Falls

3. High Rocks

These are the rocks most used for jumping into the river. There's a MUCH safer set downstream a short ways.

4. Good Swimming

This little eddy has good access and a decent beach. It's easy to get in and out of the water and the eddy brings tennis balls and other wayward dog toys back in about 2-3 minutes.

5. Steelhead Falls Viewpoint

The falls are quite a sight.

6. Lizards Everywhere!

Watch for lizards on the sun warmed rocks.

7. Calm Water

Downstream of the falls, calm water reigns. Watch for waterfowl, herons, and beavers along the banks.
