Marcos Bassi, son of Italian, grew up in the Bras neighborhood, downtown Sao Paulo. Her history with meat started early, at eight years old, when he sold kids of beef in the neighborhood where he lived. After a few years, Marcos and his mother Mrs.Mafalda, acquired a space in the Municipal Market of Sao Paulo. Worked hard there, until they acquire the butcher of Mr Prachedes in Humaita Street, already in the Bixiga neighborhood and transform the House of Meats Bassi, where the rich immigrants met the city, as a structure, quality and customer care services. Gradually managed to implement a grill inside the house so they could test Meats for their creations right there. It was when they started to sell sandwiches and cuts already baked in the Store. The history of prime meats was born there, along with the story of Marcos Bassi, just to differentiate the quality and price of products Marcos Bassi. In 1978 born the "Central Refrigerated Meat Noble Bassi" on May 13th Street, now with a special place to serve some people with their tastings races and special cuts. The tastings did so successfully, that a year later came the grill at the same location where work until today the facilities and services of the Temple of Meat. Throughout life, Marcos Bassi learned in practice, all about cuts and other technical details such as blood flow, smoothness and texture. As a craftsman, his hands left consecrated as "Bombom", made from the pith of the rump, and the steak from the butcher cuts. Also pioneered the vacuum process and maturation of meat in Brazil.
