Smurfs and Tintin are just a few of the cartoon characters immortalized by Belgian cartoon artists, and kids of all ages can explore cartoon characters at the Belgian Centre of Comic Strip Art.
Talk a walking tour of Brussels following the Comic Strip Trail, a 3-mile series of 30 murals painted on building walls. Located throughout the city, make it a game to identify the classic Belgian cartoon characters.
Kids can’t enough of dinosaurs, so take to the biggest dinosaur gallery in Europe, the Museum des Sciences Naturelles. Star attractions include 30 fossilized Iguanodons discovered more than 130 years ago, along with a host of other dinoasaurs guaranteed to fascinate kids of all ages.
